When did the right to worship our Creator our Saviour through songs and music, become something that we must pay money for? I do recall Jesus getting a little fired up when he saw people using the temple as a way to earn some cash. I wonder what he thinks of the multi-billion dollar industry that we call "worship"?
Our Dream is to bring an alternative choice to what most gatherings have. The idea that any worship song could be used freely by people in tribes or in Cities. That money would not be made off of another's desire to worship. So 4thSeed Music (and many other musicians throughout the world) are hoping to shift the culture in this slight, but crucial way.
Our desire is to see congregational worship songs that are God Honouring and Christ Focus. There seems to be a self-centred mindset in a number of the songs that we the church are singing today, with promises in the verses that many churchgoers are often unable to keep.
Our hope (along with many others around the world) is to bring our words back to a Gospel Truth, so we might truly worship God as the body of Christ.
